James Ashwin was the Music Programmer for NZ Fashion Week 2010. This role entailed the co-ordination of music and DJ's in the NZ Fashion Week Cutting Room, and ensuring the week ran smoothly between musicians and organisers. NZFW found that the music was fantastic all week and in-keeping with what Fashion Week is all about. James was responsible for booking and managing over 30 of Australia and New Zealand's top DJ's and making sure they were well looked after during their sets and during their time in Auckland.

James performed in this role to a high standard, and with commitment and enthusiasm. He has demonstrated the ability to work under pressure and to plan and organise successfully to meet event needs. He has close attention to detail, is extremely reliable and produced a very polished product. His strong interpersonal and communication skills have allowed him to develop good working relationships with both DJ's and event organisers. .
